When someone mentioned “Bring your dog to work day…”

Of course we were all like “Hell yes”.  (As if any of us need an excuse!!)

Red Herring Games is a “dogs welcome” office and we have our office regulars.  Floss of course comes to work every day with the boss, but Freddie and Ida have been regulars at the office since they were still in diapers (or puppy equivalent of).  Since Covid-19 and the “work from home” requirements, Freddie and Ida have both been sorely missed, but as the staff base grew we’ve seen the arrival of new dogs and visiting dogs too!  Pixie has become a new office regular while her real mother is poorly, and Mary Alice comes in at least once or twice a month to join in the fray.

But it’s not just dogs, we’ve also played host to gerbils when owners are away, as well as the odd poorly rat or rabbit who can’t be left at home alone.

It’s not unsual for people to call the office phone just to ask after the dogs, and we regular have visitors popping in just to see them!

It’s less usual to create a mystery puzzle around them… but Jasmin and Jess rose to the challenge this year and so…Who stole the treats was born.  Della has a escape room planned around the animals too which she’s working on behind the scenes… and Jo is planning a dog show themed murder mystery for 2022 (there’s a LOT on this year!)
