The story so far…

Situated in Knightsbridge, London, an upmarket area with leafy garden squares and grand Victorian homes, is the prominent and unmistakable sandstone building that is Styles.

Located just a few streets away from Hyde Park, the world-famous department store is owned by William Styles, England’s wealthiest shop owner.  Within its elegant walls, customers can shop for haute couture fashion, accessories, jewellery, perfume, haberdashery and furniture, or browse through the tastefully presented shelves in the luxury food hall for mouth-watering morsels and vintage wines.  With security on every door and staff behind every counter, the shop is as safe as it could be for the rich and famous clientele it serves on a day-to-day basis.

Despite all this, the ladies in the perfume department are all in a state of shock.  The latest diamond-encrusted Chanel atomiser has gone missing!

Will you be able to work out who stole the distinctive perfume bottle?

After sign up we will send you daily emails for a week.  They will arrive in your inbox at roughly the same time of day as you signed up.  If you can’t find them, please check your junk mail.

Each email that arrives will give you additional snippets of information and details to help you solve the case.  It will also give you an option to select ONE suspect each time you receive an email.  That suspect selection will be logged by our email software and by the end of March, we will be able to select a winner.  The more often you select correctly, the more entries you’ll get into the final draw to win a free entry to our “A Very Stylish Murder” virtual weekend taking place on 7/8thMay!

Each day there’s also a puzzle.  Today’s puzzle is below.  Keep a note of the answers to each puzzle.  On the last day of the competition, you will be able to use all the answers to these puzzles to open a safe which contains a mystery prize!

The answer to this puzzle is a letter.

When the atomiser was discovered missing, Tiffany tripped over in her hurry to tell Colin Peterson about the theft and crashed into a cat statue.  She tried to piece it back together, but one piece doesn’t seem to fit.  Which one?
